1. Are you represented by an agency?

Sammie operates primarily as an independent event host. She is also the founder of Hsachiko Talents Agency and is open to collaborations with agencies or partners on a project basis where appropriate.

2. How are your rates structured?

Rates vary depending on event type, duration, language requirements, location, rehearsal needs, and overall scope.

Standard engagements are quoted as:

  • Half-day (under 4 hours)

  • Full-day (4–8 hours)

  • Extended Full-Day (8-12 hours)

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Japanese-language hosting  

  • Separate rehearsal days  

  • Outstation or overseas events  

  • Performance segments or customised content outside standard hosting scope  

  • Themed attire or costume requirements outside standard professional hosting wear

 

Each quotation is customised based on the event details provided.

3. Do you provide Japanese interpretation services?

Sammie does not provide live Japanese interpretation personally. For scripted Japanese segments, professionally prepared scripts are supported by a certified Japanese translator.

If live interpretation is required, a qualified interpreter can be arranged upon request as an additional service, subject to availability and separate fees.

4. Do you host events overseas?

Yes. Overseas engagements are subject to travel-related costs, including flights, accommodation, ground transport, and any applicable administrative or visa requirements.

All overseas bookings are quoted on a case-by-case basis.

5. Do you host weddings?

Yes. Sammie is open to hosting weddings, provided the engagement aligns with her professional hosting scope and standard corporate rates.

Weddings are quoted based on the same criteria as corporate events, including duration, programme complexity, language requirements, rehearsals, and overall responsibilities.

6. Are there industries or brands you do not work with?

Sammie does not undertake projects related to tobacco, vaping, or gambling.

She is open to working with alcohol brands but maintains a professional standard and does not consume alcohol while hosting.

7. When is a booking considered confirmed?

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit within 7 working days from the date of the issued invoice.​​ The remaining balance is payable after the event, in accordance with the payment terms stated in the invoice.​ All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

8. What happens if my event date changes after confirmation?

If the event date changes after confirmation, Sammie will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.

As the booking deposit is non-refundable, it will be retained should the new date be unavailable. In such cases, Sammie may assist by recommending a suitable replacement host where possible, to support the continuity of the event.​ Any replacement arrangement is subject to availability and may involve different rates, depending on scope and requirements.

9. Do you offer speaker or communication training?

Yes. In addition to event hosting, Sammie provides speaker and communication training for professionals, teams, and organisations. Training engagements are scoped and quoted separately from hosting services.
